CUSTOMER SERVICE - What service can I expect after I buy a Monitor?
We've heard from sailors who have purchased other-brand windvanes and have been unable to get parts or even talk to someone about their problems. Scanmar is not a one- or two-man operation - we have staff on hand to answer your phone calls and e-mails 9AM to 5PM Pacific Coast Time, Monday through Friday, and our phone messaging is always on - if we're not here, we'll get back to you the next working day. We are the Monitor factory, and we have all parts always in stock if you have an accident or misadventure. We have 30 years of experience shipping parts and complete windvane orders - Monitors, Auto-helms, and Saye's Rigs - all over the world. We have a three-year parts and workmanship warranty on all our windvanes. Advice for Monitor owners and anyone else with selfsteering questions is of course free.
